![]() ![]() In addition to sponsoring varsity sports, the ASUN Conference also serves as a platform for collaboration among its member universities. ![]() The ASUN Championship is awarded to the team with the best regular-season record, while the ASUN Cup is awarded to the team with the best overall performance in the conference’s tournament and regular-season competitions. The conference is divided into two divisions – Atlantic and Sun – and its members compete for the ASUN Championship and the ASUN Cup. The conference also sponsors non-championship events in other sports including volleyball, beach volleyball, and rowing. The ASUN Conference sponsors championships in basketball, baseball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, and track & field. The conference is headquartered in Macon, Georgia, and all of its members are located in the southeastern United States. ![]() The conference is sponsored by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and has been in existence since 1985. The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) is a collegiate athletic conference in the United States made up of 9 universities: University of North Alabama (UNA), Jacksonville University (JU), Kennesaw State University (KSU), Liberty University (LU), New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Stetson University (SU), University of South Carolina Upstate (USC Upstate), Lipscomb University (LU), and University of North Florida (UNF). ![]()
